Rules for Teams 2026

1. AgroChallenge is a competition open to students of the green sector. Participants must be current students from a school/institution which is member of a national EUROPEA organisation.

2. Every country can send one team consisting of four students. The team should have mixed genders.

3. Every team must be accompanied by at least one team leader/coach.

4. Only students who have not participated in AgroChallenge before can join a team.

5. The participant student must be a full-time student and age 25 or under (born after June 24th 2001).

6. If a country cannot send a team, other countries may send more (first come, first serve).

7. Member countries can organise a national competition to select the team to represent their country.

8. A maximum of 18 teams can enter the competition.

9. Teams can only be registered by the National Coordinator. The National Coordinator will receive a link to an online registration form.

10. The registration fee is €250 per team (four participants, one team leader/coach). For each additional person, the extra fee is €250. The fees must be paid by the end of February 2026 (or within 30 days of receipt of the invoice).

11. The organising committee will provide transport to and from Norwich Airport, Norwich Railway Station and Norwich Bus Station to the location, as well as meals and accommodation from the evening of Tuesday 23rd June until the morning of Friday 26th June.

12. All team members must have a valid travel/health insurance for the duration of their visit to the UK.

13. All team members must be able and allowed to drive a tractor and to operate farm machinery.

14. The AgroChallenge consists of 18 different practical tasks.

15. Teams solve tasks based on a predefined schedule. The schedule will be published at least one week before the competition on the AgroChallenge 2026 website. Each task will last no longer than 15 minutes.

16. For each task, a set of rules will be defined along with a risk assessment and a short instructional video (if applicable) which will be published at least one week prior to the event commencing on the AgroChallenge 2026 website.

17. Prior to the event, details of the equipment/vehicle will be published on the AgroChallenge 2026 website.

18. Tasks will be assessed by judges based on the predefined rules and instructions from the Head Judge. Team members are not allowed to dispute the assessment of the judges. Points may be deducted if they so do.

19. Only the team leader/coach may file a protest or complaint to the Head Judge. Decisions made by the Head Judge are final.

20. For each task, the winning team will be given 18 points (1st rank), the second best 17 points (2nd rank), the third team 16 points (3rd rank) etc.

21. The team leaders/coach are responsible for the good behaviour of their students during the whole stay (24/7). The team leaders/coach are responsible for housekeeping (cleanness) in the accommodation; they will have to pay all damages caused by their students (further defined in accommodation rules).

22. It is the responsibility of the team leader/coach that the team is ready to start AgroChallenge competition on time

23. At all times, instructions from the organising committee must be strictly followed.

24. The AgroChallenge is an educational activity - smoking and the use of alcohol during challenges is prohibited.
